X-raycomputer is a kind of x-radiator, in which it transmits x-ray from x-ray tube through the target organ toward the receiver. Then, the computer will process the data and generate the image for such organ.
Cancer is the frightful and uncurable disease. Few years ago, there has been continuous development of x-ray computer technology, so called today 64-Slice Spiral CT. It can store up to 64 images for 1 round of x-ray tube whirl, resulting in detailed and covering data of the target organ quickly. All data can be used to create new images in both 2 and 3 dimensions in any plates, including moving images – 4D, in order to prevent and detect the cancer and other disease in time.

Preparation for Examination
- In radiation examination with x-ray, the iodinated contrast media may be needed. Therefore, the patient is supposed to inform necessary information on appointment, in order for preparation to prevent any complications such as
- Pregnancy symptoms
- Asthma
- Pyelonephritis or high level of creatinine
- Be allergic to seafood, drug, iodinated contrast media in past x-raydiation.
- Drink clean water in the day before the appointment.
- No food and drink 6 hours before examination, and bring the previous films in order to watch the disease change.
Behaviour during Examination
Examination with x-ray computer will take about 10-20 minutes, depending on examined organ or area. During the examination, patient should do the following:
- In case of abdominal examination, iodinated contrast media dissolved water may be drunk or used in enema to clearly distinguish the intestine and adjacent organs.
Stay still in the bed in the specified gesture.
- Follow the instruction such as breathing in and out, and holding breath, for clear image.
- The bed may be moved back and forth, or noise from the equipment. Those are normal states.
- During iodinated contrast media injection into the vein, the patient may be intensely hot, or pain along the vein.
- Any problem during the examination, the patient can inform the staff immediately with a microphone at the equipment.
- After the examination, the patient with strange feeling because of allergy to the iodinated contrast media such as queasy, vomit, stuffed nose, sneezing, itch, rash, dizzy, or short of breath.
Behaviour after Examination
The patient who is injected the iodinated contrast media via the vein should drink water more (except for limited patient), because the media will be excreted with urine.
