Tooth bleaching is needed in people with colored tooth, especially Asian people who are not as white as Westerners. Even in the same person, each tooth is different. The fang is darker than front teeth; child’s milk teeth are white but out teeth are a bit more yellow; adult’s teeth are even darker. Therefore, let us see the reason of tooth color changing.

There are 2 ways of tooth bleaching, which are: In office bleaching is the way needed to be done in the clinic by the dentist. The bleaching matter, mostly Peroxide with 30-38% of density, will be used for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Home bleaching is the way that patient can take the bleaching matter home and do it himself. The dentist will provide individual bleaching tray and matter with much lower density than clinical use. The patient, then, can safely use it himself. However, the patient has to see the dentist on appointment later.
Tooth whitening by bleaching can make the tooth become colored as previous time, so it is a temporary changing. For permanent changing, the dentist will suggest other way such as Veneer or Crown.
