Why Should You Have a Health Check-up?
“Good health cannot be bought.”
Regular health check-ups are an important part of self-care because they help screen for the risk of various diseases that may occur in the future, and help detect abnormalities in their early stages. This helps in planning appropriate prevention, treatment, or behavioral changes.
Our bodies work constantly, even while we sleep, and therefore may deteriorate with use and age. In addition, lifestyle habits, gender, age, pre-existing conditions, and family health history are all factors that contribute to different disease risks.
Therefore, continuous health check-ups help assess health status, identify risk factors, and lead to appropriate health care planning. To prevent abnormalities from progressing into future diseases.
