On September 24, 2026, “Mahidol Day,” we commemorate the royal grace of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, the Prince Father, who has been honored as the “Father of Modern Medicine in Thailand.”
Bangpakok Hospital Group and Piyavate Hospital, led by Dr. Chareong Chandrakamol, Honorary Chairman of Bangpakok–Piyavate Group, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Chairman of the Board of Bangpakok–Piyavate Group and CEO of Piyavate Hospital Phrannok, and Dr. Bhana Chandrakamol, CEO of Bangpakok Hospital Group and Director of Piyavate Hospital, together with executives, doctors, and nurses, participated in a wreath-laying ceremony to pay homage at the monument of Prince Mahidol of Songkla, Prince Father, at Siriraj Hospital.
Participating in this ceremony was organized to commemorate the profound royal grace and significant royal contributions to Thailand's medical and public health sectors, as well as to express gratitude for laying the foundation and advancing Thai medicine.
