About vaccines
Influenza vaccine helps stimulate immunity to reduce the risk of flu infection, reduce the severity of symptoms, and reduce the chance of complications from the disease.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Public Health recommend getting an annual flu vaccine, as influenza virus strains are constantly changing.
The vaccine can be administered to individuals aged 6 months and older, especially high-risk groups including young children, the elderly, pregnant women, people with underlying conditions, medical personnel, or caregivers of patients and the elderly.
Recommendations before vaccination
- Get adequate rest before receiving the service
- If you have a fever or acute illness, please consult a doctor before getting vaccinated.
- You can consume food, water, and regular medication as usual, unless otherwise advised by a doctor.
- Inform the doctor or nurse if you have any underlying conditions, a history of drug or vaccine allergies, or are pregnant.
- Wear a short-sleeved shirt or clothing convenient for receiving a vaccination.
- After vaccination, observe symptoms for at least 30 minutes and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
