How to prepare before endoscopy
- Get adequate rest on the night before the examination.
- You may sip plain water, but refrain from food and other beverages for at least 6–8 hours prior to the examination. Avoid fruits, vegetables, and high-fiber foods for 2 days before the endoscopy to prevent potential danger from aspirating food and water into the trachea while swallowing the scope.
- If you have dentures, remove them if possible. If any tooth is loose, please inform the doctor.
- Inform of underlying medical conditions, regular medications, drug allergies (especially local anesthesia for tooth extraction), and past surgical history (if any).
- You should arrive at the hospital approximately 30 minutes before your appointment to allow time for preparation.
- If you require a medical certificate or reimbursement forms, please inform the staff before examination.
- Do not bring jewelry or valuables to the hospital to prevent loss.
- Wear loose, easy-to-wear clothing for convenience in changing.
- A relative should accompany you and take you home for safety.
Terms of Service
- Program Period: Today – December 31, 2026
- This rate includes outpatient service fee, endoscopist fee, forceps biopsy, anesthesiologist, staff and equipment related to endoscopy, and recovery room service after endoscopy.
- This price does not include pre-endoscopy preparation costs, biopsy examination fees, laboratory test fees, ongoing treatment costs for underlying conditions or complications, other doctor consultation fees (if any), and laxative fees of approximately 1,000 THB for both Thai and foreign nationals.
- Use of this package is at the doctor's discretion.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, or coupons.
- The hospital reserves the right to change prices or cancel without prior notice.
- This price is for Thai nationals and foreign permanent residents in Thailand only.
