SBK LASIK: Blade surgery to separate corneal layers (both eyes)

Price 36,000 Baht (Payment via cash or bank transfer)
Price 38,500 Baht (Payment via participating credit cards)

What is SBK LASIK

SBK LASIK is an advanced form of traditional LASIK that still uses a blade to create the corneal flap, but utilizes a special blade capable of creating a thinner flap than conventional blade LASIK.

Creating a thinner corneal flap allows the remaining cornea to have greater thickness, enabling higher refractive error correction in certain cases. It is suitable for individuals with normal corneal thickness, non-small eyes, and those seeking LASIK vision correction at a more affordable price.

Advantages of SBK LASIK

  • LASIK procedure using a special blade, which can separate the corneal layer thinner than traditional blade LASIK
  • Helps increase the thickness of the remaining cornea, allowing for greater vision correction.
  • Lower chance of dry eyes compared to traditional blade LASIK
  • Offers precision similar to bladeless LASIK or Femto LASIK, but at a more affordable price.
  • Can correct nearsightedness up to approximately 1,200–1,300, depending on corneal thickness
  • Suitable for people with normal corneal thickness and eyes that are not small
  • Vision typically becomes clearer within 1 day after surgery.

Preparation before SBK LASIK

  • Remove contact lenses prior to evaluation:
    • Soft contact lenses should be removed at least 7 days in advance
    • Hard contact lenses should be removed at least 3 weeks in advance
  • Refrain from taking acne medication in the Roaccutane or Acnotin group for at least 1 month.
  • Please bring relevant examination and treatment records, such as previous vision prescription or current medications.
  • You should not drive yourself on the day of the examination, as pupil-dilating eye drops may cause temporary blurred vision.
  • Get adequate sleep before the check-up.
  • Please take a shower and wash your hair before receiving the service.
  • Refrain from using perfume, roll-on deodorant, or scented hair gel.
  • Avoid wearing makeup, including around the eyes
